Our New Hulls are underway being produced at the GEMINI factory in Cape Town the photo shows the Pontoon Tubes under a pressure test.
The two hulls have been adapted to hold the required fuel cells [4 x 35ltr tanks] up the front of the boat usually where the co-pilot would be sat this is giving just enough room for the rest of the equipment to be positioned behind them.
Space is of a premium as having some room for the pilot to move around is essential to keep the boat balanced and in trim.
The demanding and rigorous nature of the trip means that safety and reliability of the equipment is of paramount importance and the attention to detail that Gemini apply to the manufacture of the hulls will ensure peace of mind when the real journey begins.
